Bonom) a marqué Bruxelles et Paris de ses peintures monumentales, signant en divers lieux squelettes, effigies humaines ou animales gigantesques. Aujourd'hui, l'artiste oeuvre à visage découvert et multiplie les modes d'expression : mises en scène, sculptures en cuir et performances mêlant notamment marionnettes et dessins réalisés en live... Après le livre Bonom, le singe boiteux, en duo avec Ian Dykmans, l'artiste convie sa mère et sculpteur, Agnès Debizet, à entrer en dialogue avec lui. For a decade, Vincent Glowinski (aka Bonom) has marked Brussels and Paris with his monumental paintings, creating skeletons, giant human effigies and animals in various locations. The artist has now stepped out of anonymity and uses various forms of expression: mise en scène, sculptures in leather, and performances that combine notably puppets and drawings created live. After the book Bonom, le singe boiteux (Bonom: the Lame Monkey), produced in collaboration with Ian Dykmans, the artist has invited his mother, the sculptor Agnès Debizet, to enter into dialogue with him. Vincent Glowinski reviews her thirty-year career as a sculptor and combines her work with his most recent works. The photographs by Mario Brenta, taken in their workshops, invite readers to immerse themselves in the world of these unique artists.
